With Google+ giving me an opportunity to somewhat reorganize my online connection in another way, I decided to take a look at the way MarkJuleen.com was organized. Prior to the changes last week there were categories for “The Apartment Nerd“, “The Marketing Nerd“, “J.C. Hart Spotlight“, “EverydayMap“, and “The Resident Connection“. I had a few sub categories as well, but in the end I came to the conclusion that those categories had no organization quality whatsoever. Time for a reorg.
You’ll see just 3 main categories with sub categories below them now with the reorg.
The Resident Connection – Posts relevant to the multifamily industry and to business at The Resident Connection.
– Subcategories – EverydayMap & J.C. Hart Spotlight will highlight posts relevant to those businesses, but still be under The Resident Connection umbrella
Video Post – These are any posts that are mainly video. They could potentially address anything, not necessarily multifamily, and could also be found under The Resident Connection
– Subcategories – Guest Videos will organize any interviews or guest videos on the blog
Written Posts – These are posts I write out without video included. Usually full of links and plenty of opinion. 😉
– Subcategories – Guest Posts will organize any posts written by some of my fellow Marketing Nerds that I love.
So that’s it in a nutshell. So if you want to dig deeper into post that you may have missed you can use the categories for those, but also check out the tags widget on the right side of the page to sort that way as well. Thanks for stopping by!
