HP just made my day!

My battery crapped out last week right during the Optimization Summit. Thankfully my laptop would still work if plugged in. So yesterday I sent a service request into HP letting them know of the issue and asking what the next steps are. No questions asked or back and forth wanting to know more details here’s what they send me.

“Dear Mark,
Thank you for contacting HP e-Solutions.
We understand that you are experiencing issue with the Battery on 8730w notebook.
Honoring your request, the Battery is being shipped to you and should arrive in 1-2 business days. If the shipping label on the box has a ‘Return Tag’, please follow the instructions on the label to return the defective part within 3 days.”

How cool is that. I didn’t have to call a number, nor did I have to plead my case. They’re just sending a battery. Love it!
